Frequently Asked Questions

8 common questions answered

What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2025 Kia Soul?
The NHTSA database returned 22 recall entries tied to Kia Soul model years and components that owners should review and verify by VIN. These entries cover components including steering pinion plugs, engine and catalytic converter concerns, accelerator pedals, and transmission parking software updates; many apply to earlier Soul model years but may be relevant depending on VIN and build date. Nalley Kia recommends owners confirm recall status so we can arrange free, factory-authorized repairs at our Lithonia service center.
How do I check if my 2025 Kia Soul has an open recall?
Check your vehicle's VIN at NHTSA.gov or bring your VIN to Nalley Kia and we will check for free. You can also schedule service and our factory-trained technicians will verify open recalls using OEM diagnostic tools. We will notify you of any required manufacturer recall repairs and can apply the remedy at no cost under the recall program.
How much does a 2025 Kia Soul recall repair cost?
Manufacturer recall repairs are performed free of charge to the owner under Kia's recall program. Nalley Kia uses OEM parts and factory-trained technicians to complete recall work at no cost; if related repairs outside the recall are requested, we can discuss options and available service financing.
Can I get my 2025 Kia Soul recall fixed at an independent shop or do I need a dealer?
Recall repairs must be completed by an authorized dealer to ensure OEM parts, correct programming, and warranty compliance; a certified franchise like Nalley Kia is the proper choice. Independent shops cannot always perform manufacturer software updates or receive OEM replacement steering or engine components under the recall program. Book an appointment with Nalley Kia to confirm recall coverage and fast, guaranteed repair using factory tools: schedule service.
How long does a 2025 Kia Soul recall repair take?
Most recall remedies are completed the same day or within 1–2 days, depending on parts and required inspections. Nalley Kia will provide an estimated turnaround when you schedule service, and we offer timely updates, loaner options (when available), and expedited handling for safety-related recalls.
Does an open recall affect my 2025 Kia Soul's trade-in or resale value?
Unresolved recalls can reduce resale and trade-in value because buyers and dealers often check NHTSA records before purchase. Resolving recalls at Nalley Kia protects vehicle value and provides documentation that the recall was completed using OEM parts—start a quick appraisal at our trade-in page.
Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2025 Kia Soul recall?
Some state safety inspections or emissions checks may be affected if a recall impacts emissions controls or critical safety systems. If you are unsure, bring your vehicle to Nalley Kia or schedule an appointment and we will verify open recalls and advise on inspection readiness. Ask about our current service specials and service financing if an unrelated repair is needed.
