The 2023 Kia Forte faces multiple manufacturer recalls documented by the NHTSA that directly affect occupant safety and driveability. These include engine-related recalls that may cause an engine compartment fire, oil pump or engine damage that could lead to stalling, air bag control and occupant classification defects that can prevent proper air bag deployment, brake pedal stopper pad deterioration that may keep brake lights illuminated or allow the transmission to be shifted without braking, and other concerns such as headlight aiming and axle driveshaft heat-treatment checks. Ignoring these recalls can increase the risk of injury in a crash, cause unexpected breakdowns, and in some cases, raise the risk of fire. Nalley Kia in Lithonia, GA treats safety as an immediate priority: our factory-trained technicians will inspect the affected systems, perform necessary repairs with genuine OEM parts, and document the completed recall so your vehicle record is clean. Because recall repairs are manufacturer-mandated remedies, they are performed free of charge at an authorized Kia dealer and must be completed by certified technicians to ensure warranty compliance and safe outcomes. We also advise that open recalls can affect insurance claims and the vehicle's resale value, so prompt action protects both safety and investment. For convenience we offer free VIN recall checks and can help you schedule service while you take advantage of any available service specials.

Many repairs can be completed the same day; more complex engine work may take longer — we provide clear time estimates at check-in. If you prefer to arrange a visit now, please schedule service online; our service advisors will confirm parts availability and offer loaner or shuttle options when available. Nalley Kia also provides service financing to help you manage any non-recall work that may be recommended alongside recall repairs.

The 2023 Kia Forte's recall history—documented by the NHTSA—can be cleared with documented, factory-performed repairs that protect your resale value and buyer confidence. Nalley Kia will inspect, repair, and record each recall remedy using OEM parts, and we will provide you with service documentation to present at trade-in or sale.
