What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2018 Kia Soul?
The provided NHTSA data contains 22 recall records related to Kia Soul models; some of these recalls can affect 2018 Kia Soul vehicles depending on engine and build date. Primary components covered in the dataset include steering pinion/pinion plug issues, engine and catalytic-converter overheating risks, accelerator pedal fractures, transmission parking/gear-position software updates, and headliner attachment concerns affecting airbag deployment. Many steering recalls involve the pinion plug or steering gear assembly that could cause loss of steering, while engine and catalytic-converter recalls address overheating, piston damage, and potential fire risk. For authoritative details we reference the NHTSA recall notices and Kia campaign identifiers listed in the official records.
